Sorbus

Sorbus is a non-profit art space run by an artist collective and located on Vaasankatu in Helsinki, Finland. The space opened in January 2013 and has hosted exhibitions, performances, concerts and other events from various fields of art. We wanted to create the kind of space in which we ourselves would like to show our work.

Since the beginning of 2019, Sorbus working group emphasizes its own artistry and, instead of running an exhibition and event program, focuses on the work as an artist collective. The Vaasankatu space now functions as the collective’s workspace. (Our newsletter about the 2019 change)
